AUSTIN, TX – A man was killed in a hit-and-run collision in east Austin on Saturday night, KVUE reports.
Police say the man was hit while crossing in the 1100 block of Airport Boulevard near Springdale Road shortly before 10 p.m.
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle involved fled the scene before first responders arrived. No additional information on their identity is available at this time.
