AUSTIN, TX – The Travis County Sheriff’s Office responded to a collision along the highway in west Austin Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Austin-Travis County Traffic Report Page, the crash happened shortly after 3:30 p.m. along TX-71 between Coral Stone Way and Vail Divide.
Authorities haven’t yet disclosed the cause of the accident or the number of vehicles involved, but they say that at least one person sustained injuries. It’s not yet clear if anyone required hospitalization.
Motorists likely faced delays along TX-71 in the area of the crash while police and emergency teams responded.
