News: Juvenile struck by vehicle in Rouse High School parking lot

LEANDER, TX – A student at Rouse High School was hit and injured by a vehicle Thursday morning, August 15, while walking in the campus’ parking lot, reports KXAN.

The incident took place at around 8:00 a.m., during the morning arrival period, according to a letter addressed to parents.

While the circumstances of the event have not been fully disclosed, school officials said the student received treatment from a school nurse up until the arrival of EMS personnel.

The extent of the student’s injuries was not immediately clear.

Officials have also not shared any details about the involved driver, and no pending charges or citations have been reported.
