AUSTIN, TX – A crash on southbound I-35 prompted two left lane closures on I-35 North Friday.
The collision happened around 2:15 p.m. along East 51st Street, according to a tweet from Total Traffic Austin.

Traffic delays can be seen toward Woodland Avenue.
There has been no word on when all travel lanes will reopen and how long delays will last.
In the meantime, drivers should proceed with caution and may want to consider seeking alternative routes.
