News: Leander PD closes Bagdad Rd. due to collision 

LEANDER, TX – Leander Police had to temporarily close one north and southbound lane at Bagdad Road along Southbrook due to a Wednesday morning crash.

Officers indicated in an X post that the closures began before 8:30 a.m. During the closures, drivers were asked to avoid the area and were told to expect major delays as crews worked to clear the area and as police pursued their investigation.

Lane closures were lifted at approximately 10:19 a.m. There have been no mentions of how this collision happened, what sorts of people and vehicles were involved, if anyone was injured or hospitalized, or pending citations or charges.
