LEANDER, TX – Local police were dispatched to a crash at the U.S. 183 Highway and Bryson Trail intersection before 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

Police first announced southbound closures at approximately 4:17 p.m. and, at the time of reporting, said drivers could drive past the crash by taking a northbound lane. All lanes reopened after 9 p.m.
Officers said this was a major collision, but have not commented on the events leading up to this crash, listed the number of people and vehicles involved, or said if anyone was injured.
