AUSTIN, TX – One was left dead, and another was injured after a two-vehicle collision at the 12600 block of S US 183 Highway Saturday.
First responders were called to the area near Old Lockhart Road after 4:30 p.m., according to a tweet from ATCEMS.
Major Collision at 12623-13125 S Us 183 Hwy Nb (x-street Old Lockhart Rd, 04:33). #ATCEMS & TCESD 11 are on scene of a collision involving 2 vehicles & 2 patients, one who is reportedly unconscious. One person gave in to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The person who was hurt was evaluated for unspecified injuries. However, officials did not indicate if they were taken to a hospital.
