LOCKHART, TX – A truck driver was leaving the First-Lockhart National Bank drive-thru when he lost control of his vehicle, causing him to leave the road and crash into a vintage shop last Monday.
The impact of the collision left the store, Magic Mirror Vintage, without a support beam, a damaged front facade, and inventory, according to a KVUE. Police responded to the scene, the 100th block of San Antonio Street, after 9 p.m. Officers and crews closed a portion of San Antonio Street and reopened all lanes by 11:30 p.m.
The driver doesn’t appear to have been seriously injured. Police did not confirm whether he would face charges at this time. The owner did not announce any closures at this time.
