EAST AUSTIN, TX – A 55-year-old man lost his life to a motorcycle accident that happened south of Decker Lake in East Austin Sunday.
According to KXAN, the motorcycle accident happened before 10 p.m. in the 7500th block of FM 969 and warranted a response from Austin police and Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services.
After arriving, ATCEMS conducted CPR on the unconscious 55-year-old man. Despite their best efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Officials identified the victim as Joseph E. Carrington and confirmed he was the motorcyclist.
It is unclear if another driver was involved in the collision.
