AUSTIN, TX – On Friday, Jan. 10, Austin Police officially confirmed that a 56-year-old man passed away in a two-vehicle collision in North Lamar last Sunday, Dec. 29.
The police’s press release stated this crash took place before 1:15 p.m. in the 10500th block of North Interstate Highway. Upon arrival, EMS crews transported the 56-year-old man, later identified as Dominic Rene Gonzalez, to a nearby hospital, where he died. Officials confirmed the second driver was unharmed.
