LEANDER, TX – A 62-year-old man lost his life in a solo collision that took place on Ranch to Market Road 2243 on Monday, CBSAustin reports.
Leander police responded to the scene around 10:45 p.m. and declared the victim dead at the scene. They have since identified him as Luis Olivares Almaraz.
Police shut down both directions west of Limestone Creek Road and east of County Road 175 to accommodate the scene clean-up process and reopened all lanes before 3 p.m.
A full investigation is underway.
