ROUND ROCK, TX – A pedestrian’s life was claimed in a crash after 9 p.m. Saturday, according to FOX 7 Austin.
The collision occurred on the 1800 block of East Palm Valley Boulevard. The man was walking when he was struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, Round Rock Police discovered that the pedestrian was lying in the middle of the road.
CPR measures were performed on the man. He was later identified as 69-year-old Thomas Byrd, who unfortunately suffered fatal injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
