News: Man, 71, killed in crash involving UPS truck near New Braunfels 

NEAR NEW BRAUNFELS, TX – A 71-year-old man was killed in a crash involving a UPS delivery truck near New Braunfels on Monday, KSAT reports.

The incident happened around 8:30 a.m. in the area of FM 3009 near Ponderosa Way. Preliminary details indicate that a driver of a United Postal Service delivery truck was going north on the highway when he crossed the center line and collided with a silver Lexus SUV.

The SUV driver, the 71-year-old man, died from his injuries at the scene. Officials have since identified him as Thomas Carter.

The Texas Department of Public Safety started an investigation and has not shared additional information at this time.
