News: Man arrested after deadly 2025 Christmas Eve crash in Round Rock 

ROUND ROCK, TX – A 60-year-old man was arrested this month in relation to a deadly 2025 Christmas Eve crash, Fox7Austin said.

The arrest happened on Saturday, May 16, in El Paso. El Paso police pulled over the suspect, William Tudmon, for a broken brake light, when they realized he had several outstanding warrants for his arrest. They took him into custody without incident, and he was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility. He is currently being held with no bond.

Two days earlier, he was indicted on several charges on May 14 in Milam County, some of which include two counts of intoxication manslaughter. And he is also being charged with three counts of Aggravated Assault Causes Bodily Injury.

The Back Story: On Dec. 24, 2025, Tudmon had allegedly driven while intoxicated and went over a centerline on Highway 79 and crashed into another vehicle.

The two people in the other vehicle, a 17-year-old girl and an 18-year-old male teen, identified as Cooper Elsik, were on their way to Santa’s Wonderland in College Station when they were struck by Tudmon’s vehicle.

Elsik and the girl later died from their injuries.
