AUSTIN, TX – As of Wednesday, APD revealed one driver was arrested, and one was left dead after a crash on the Upper Deck.
The collision occurred on the 2900 block of IH 35 North Upper Deck before 5:15 a.m. on Friday, March 31st.
A driver of a passenger car, for reasons unclear, collided with an SUV. That driver, Milton Castanon Villatoro, did not render aid or call 911. He immediately fled the scene and was later found and booked into custody.
Villatoro was arrested for intoxication assault and failure to stop and render aid.
The SUV driver, Elias Saenz, was transported to a hospital, where he later died.
