AUSTIN, TX – A 45-year-old man who was critically injured in a motorcycle crash last Tuesday, July 9, in north Austin has died, according to CBS Austin.

The incident unfolded at the intersection of East 45th Street and Duval Street, in the city’s Hyde Park neighborhood, at about 11:09 p.m.

While few details about the crash were made public, Austin Police Department officials indicated that the victim was operating a motorcycle at the time, and no other vehicles appear to have been involved.

The rider was rushed to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased three days later on Friday, July 12.
