News: Motorcyclist critically hurt in SW Austin collision 

SOUTHWEST AUSTIN, TX – A motorcyclist was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center in critical condition after a solo crash in the East Oak Hill area Saturday. 

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services said this collision occurred in the 2300th block of the northbound MoPac Expressway. Paramedics and other first responders arrived at the scene after 11:45 p.m., two minutes before midnight going into Sunday.

ATCEMS initially received a call indicating that the motorcyclist passed away from the crash. However, upon arrival, they confirmed this factor was not true. 

No other vehicles and occupants appeared to be involved in this wreck. Officials have yet to disclose the events leading to this crash.
