GARFIELD, TX – A motorcyclist was airlifted to Dell Seton Medical Center by STAR Flight after colliding with a trash truck Friday.
Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services, medical helicopter personnel, and Travis County Fire Rescue crews were dispatched to the area of Caldwell Lane and River Timber Drive. Officials arrived at the crash site around 7 a.m. After arriving, fire crews extricated the motorcyclist, who was pinned under the truck.

Medical helicopter personnel then conducted the transportation. As it stands, the motorcyclist is recovering from serious wounds.
Authorities have not disclosed the events that led to the wreck or said if citations or charges are expected.
