NORTHWEST AUSTIN, TX – A male motorcyclist’s life was claimed as a result of a crash involving a car that happened on U.S. 183 South on Sunday.
The motorcyclist collided with a car along Great Hills Trail, KVUE reports.
Austin Police said the male motorcyclist died from his injuries at the scene. Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services said the two other occupants were left with unspecified injuries.
The two surviving occupants were evaluated for their injuries, but were not taken to a hospital.
Police confirmed all drivers stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
Police rediverted traffic to Frontage Road at the Loop 360/ Capital of Texas Highway exit and reopened all lanes after 12:30 p.m.
