AUSTIN, TX – A multi-vehicle collision on Loop 360, also known as Capital of Texas Highway, left three people injured Monday afternoon, according to KXAN.
The crash occurred just before 4:30 p.m. on the southbound ramp connecting North Capital of Texas Highway to Research Boulevard, according to Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS).
ATCEMS and the Austin Fire Department responded to the scene. Paramedics transported one patient to Dell Seton Medical Center with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
Two other individuals were taken to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with minor injuries, ATCEMS said.
Authorities did not immediately release information about the cause of the crash or the number of vehicles involved.
