SOUTH AUSTIN, TX – First responders received a report of a train vs. pedestrian crash around 5:40 a.m. Monday.
The pedestrian was allegedly struck by a train in the area of W. Mary St. and 7th St, according to FOX 7 Austin.
When emergency crews arrived at the scene, nobody was found. In an attempt to locate the body, they used a thermal imaging drone. However, after a couple of hours of searching, they could not locate the pedestrian.
The train left the area by 8 a.m.
