LAKEWAY, TX – Traffic delays lingered on Highway 71 after a big rig crashed into a 500-gallon tank Wednesday.
Lane closures between Great Divide Drive and Bee Cave Parkway began at 5 a.m., and eastbound lanes reopened at 9 a.m., Fox 7 Austin revealed. At the time of reporting, all westbound lanes stayed closed.
The driver was unharmed.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area until the roads clear. Until then, travelers can use Bee Cave Parkway and FM 620 as alternative routes.
