News: North Austin car-pedestrian crash claims one life

AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was left dead after getting struck by a car Sunday morning in North Austin. 

The collision happened on the North Capital of Texas Highway before the on-ramp on the MoPac Expressway northbound lanes, according to a tweet from ATCEMS

CPR measures were performed. However, the victim ultimately gave in to his or her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

There has been no confirmation on what led to the collision, who had the right of way if there will be pending charges for the driver, and the names and identities of those involved.
