AUSTIN, TX – Austin Police have revealed the name of the cyclist killed in a crash near Williamson Creek on Friday, March 24th.
The collision took place on South 1st Street near Emerald Wood Drive, KXAN revealed. The cyclist was riding his bicycle when an SUV hit him.
The SUV driver was unharmed and remained at the scene, and cooperated with investigators.
The cyclist, 76-year-old John Phillip Judah, was transported to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, where he succumbed to fatal injuries.
