News: One claimed in vehicle-pedestrian crash in North Austin 

NORTH AUSTIN, TX – One person’s life was claimed in a vehicle-pedestrian crash outside the El Oceano Sports Bar in the North Lamar district on Wednesday.

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services reported the crash at 2:27 p.m., saying the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the 9523rd block of North Lamar Boulevard.

The pedestrian died from their injuries at the scene.

Officials have not released the victim’s name and are actively working to determine the events leading to the vehicle-pedestrian crash.
