NORTH AUSTIN, TX – One person was sent to Dell Seton Medical Center in critical condition following a crash that required extrication in North Austin Saturday.
The Austin Fire Department and Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services received a call before 11 p.m. to head to the 6700th to 7127th block of North MoPac Expressway. Upon arrival, first responders discovered that two vehicles were involved, and one person was pinned inside their vehicle.

Fire crews did not specify if it was the pinned individual who suffered life-threatening wounds or if another person was left in serious condition. At this time, officials have not mentioned the events that led to Saturday’s wreck.
