AUSTIN, TX – One person was critically injured following a two-vehicle crash on the southbound lanes of I-35 Friday.
The collision occurred between the 2100 to 4124 blocks; first responders arrived at the scene after 5:15 a.m., FOX 7 Austin reported.
One person regained a pulse thanks to aid from medics and then was sent to Dell Seton Medical Center, where he or she remains in critical condition.
Three other people were involved in the collision but declined transportation to a hospital.
Officials said one driver fled from the scene and was later detained.
