AUSTIN, TX – A person was hospitalized after falling approximately seven feet into a hole at an excavation site Wednesday.
ATCEMS were dispatched to the 600 block of Guadalupe Street around 8 a.m. The person was trapped. First responders were able to get the victim out by using a stokes basket and ropes system.

The person was then taken to Dell Seton Medical Center for serious injuries.
