AUSTIN, TX – A person was hospitalized after falling approximately seven feet into a hole at an excavation site Wednesday.
ATCEMS were dispatched to the 600 block of Guadalupe Street around 8 a.m. The person was trapped. First responders were able to get the victim out by using a stokes basket and ropes system.
Industrial Rescue at 610 Guadalupe St(08:02). #ATCEMS & @austinfireinfo are on scene at an excavation site, where a patient fell approx 7ft into a hole & was unable to get out. The person was then taken to Dell Seton Medical Center for serious injuries.
