MANOR, TX – A fatal crash was reported on Highway 290 around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
According to KVUE, one SUV driver attempted to turn on the highway from FM 973 and ended up hitting the back of another SUV traveling east.
The driver, a 17-year-old girl, who attempted to make the turn, was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center for life-threatening injuries.
The driver who was rear-ended was a 20-year-old woman. She succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
