SOUTH AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed as a result of a car crashing into a pole in South Austin Friday.
According to CBS Austin, the single-vehicle collision happened after 4 a.m. on the 100th block of East Slaughter Lane. Police shut down the majority of Slaughter Lane between I-35 and Congress Avenue for the scene clean-up process and investigation.
As of this writing, police have not been able to pinpoint why the driver lost control of their vehicle. Updates, which include the deceased victim’s identity, will be added after our team learns more.
