AUSTIN, TX – A crash in downtown Austin claimed one person’s life early Sunday morning.
The collision took place before 2:30 a.m. on the 600 block of North I-35 Frontage Road, ATCEMS tweeted. Upon arrival, first responders discovered that one person had succumbed to his or her injuries. As a result, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is unclear what led to the fatal collision. In addition, officials did not reveal the identities of those involved.
