DEL VALLE, TX – A pedestrian was struck by a car between the 2900 to 3100 block of S FM 973 near Eva Street Tuesday.
ATCEMS responded to the scene before 5:30 a.m., as indicated in a tweet from ATCEMS. Medics performed life-saving measures on the pedestrian; however, the victim succumbed to fatal injuries.

Officials did not reveal the cause of Tuesday’s crash or indicate pending charges.
