News: One life claimed in collision with ejection near Elroy 

AUSTIN, TX – Following a single-vehicle collision, one person was ejected from their car and succumbed to fatal injuries near Elroy on Friday. 

This crash happened before 12:45 p.m. on the 10300 block of northbound State Highway 130. Austin Travis County Medical Emergency Services are currently at the crash site investigating the circumstances behind this deadly collision and aiding crews with the scene clearance process.

Initially, Star Flight and fire crews were summoned to the scene. Firefighters were asked to extricate a pinned-in occupant. However, after arriving, they discovered the occupant was, in fact, not pinned and canceled the extrication portion and medical helicopter service altogether. 

Another person was also involved in this wreck and is currently being evaluated for physical pain and injuries. Their physical condition and other details concerning this crash remain  unknown.
