BUDA, TX – One person’s life was claimed in a head-on collision that occurred on FM 2001 in Buda around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, KXAN reports. 

Preliminary details show that one driver was traveling east on the highway when they veered out of their lane and went onto the opposite lane of traffic and collided head-on with another vehicle. 

The driver of the eastbound vehicle died from their injuries. At this time, the Texas Department of Public Safety has not released their identity.
