News: One seriously injured in pin-in crash in Riverside 

AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was seriously injured in a pin-in crash that took place in the Riverside neighborhood on Friday.

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services said the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the 2507th block of East Riverside Drive. The incident happened before 10:30 p.m. and led the pedestrian to get pinned underneath the vehicle.

ATCEMS rushed the pedestrian to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment.

Officials have not stated the cause of the collision or said whether the driver was cited or could face charges.
