AUSTIN, TX – One life was taken in a crash involving a car and pedestrian in Austin’s Wooten district Saturday.
The collision happened around 11:30 pm at the 8700 block of Research Boulevard, ATCEMS

The pedestrian succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials did not reveal what led to Saturday’s crash or the victim’s name.
