AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian, who was given CPR by ATCEMS medics, passed away at the collision site after getting struck by a vehicle in the Franklin Park area Saturday.

Austin police and fire crews, who were the other first responders, arrived at the crash site, the 4503rd to 4915th block of State Interstate Highway 35 Service Road, after 11:20 p.m.
The victim’s identity was not disclosed, although officials did confirm that they were an adult.
At the time of reporting, authorities told drivers in the area to expect delays as officials pursued their investigation and as crews worked to clear the scene.
