News: Pedestrian fatally hit by vehicle in East Austin 

EAST AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian succumbed to fatal injuries when they were hit by a vehicle south of the Colorado River Park Wildlife Sanctuary Monday.

This collision was reported at 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Crumley Lane and Montopolis Drive, according to an X post from Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services.

ATCEMS said that officials declared the walker dead at the scene. Authorities who are taking the lead on this investigation have not yet indicated the events that led to this wreck or said if the driver can expect citations or criminal charges.
