News: Pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle along St. Edward’s University

AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian’s life was claimed after they were struck by a vehicle along St. Edward’s University on Thursday.

Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services reported the pedestrian crash at 5:43 p.m., saying it occurred between the 600th to 1218th block of East Ben White Boulevard Service Road.

ATCEMS declared the pedestrian dead at the scene and has not disclosed their age, gender, or name.

Officials did not say whether the driver was cited or could face charges in connection with the pedestrian crash.
