SOUTHEAST AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian lost their life after being struck by a vehicle in Southeast Austin on Friday.
The collision happened before 6:30 a.m. in the area of East Ben White Boulevard and Woodard Street, according to CBS Austin. First responders conducted CPR on the pedestrian. However, despite their best efforts, the pedestrian died from their injuries just before 7 a.m.
Austin Police and crews closed eastbound Ben White Boulevard for a few hours before reopening the area around 10:30 a.m.
