News: Pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle on Airport Blvd. in NE Austin

AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was killed early Thursday when they were hit by a vehicle while walking in northeast Austin.

Austin-Travis County EMS confirmed the incident took place shortly before 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Airport Boulevard and Oak Springs Drive.

Despite the efforts of first responders to administer life-saving measures, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. No information concerning their identity is available at this time.
