News: Pedestrian hospitalized after crash near Barton Creek 

AUSTIN, TX – An ambulance took a pedestrian to St. David’s South Medical Center after they were struck by a vehicle near Barton Creek in the South Lamar area Tuesday. 

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services were summoned to the 3000th block of South Lamar Boulevard before 9 p.m. After arriving, they issued the pedestrian a trauma alert before taking them to St. David’s for treatment of serious wounds.

Officials did not confirm if the driver remained at the scene and if they will face charges for their involvement in Tuesday night’s collision. In addition, they did not disclose the events leading up to this incident.
