News: Pedestrian hospitalized after getting hit by vehicle in NE Austin 

NORTHEAST AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was sent to the hospital after getting struck by a vehicle in Northeast Austin on Saturday.

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services first announced the crash at 9:46 p.m. and said it took place on the 5900th block of North Interstate Highway 35 Service Road. Medics treated the pedestrian on site before transporting them to Dell Seton Medical Center. There, the pedestrian was treated for critical injuries.

At the time of the reporting, crews were cleaning up debris from the crash, and first responders were tending to the investigation process.

Officials have not specified how the collision unfolded or announced any charges.
