AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian sustained serious wounds and was sent to an area hospital after they were hit by a vehicle in the North Oaks area Wednesday night.
Austin Travis County Emergency Services were called to the 11200 block of North Interstate 35 Frontage Road before 8:30 p.m. First responders issued a trauma alert for the pedestrian and then took them to St. David’s Round Rock for treatment.

Officials have not revealed the pedestrian’s current condition, indicated who had the right of way, said what led to this crash, or disclosed any citations or pending charges.
