AUSTIN, TX – One life was claimed in a crash between a pedestrian and a car around 5 a.m. Friday.
The pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at Regency Drive & Farm to Market 969, ATCEMS revealed.

The pedestrian succumbed to his or her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
There has been no official word on what led to Friday’s crash, nor have first responders revealed the identities of those involved in the collision. Updates will be posted to the news blog when they become available.
