News: Person killed in pedestrian collision in Tech Ridge

AUSTIN, TX – A person lost their life to a pedestrian collision that happened on  West Parmer Lane near I-35 and Center Lake Drive on Tuesday. 

The collision occurred around 9:00 p.m., KVUE said two vehicles were involved in the crash and that the pedestrian was struck by at least one. 

Austin police have not released the victim’s name and are actively working to determine the events that led to the crash. 

Officials shut down the area for several hours to accommodate the scene clearance process.
