News: Person loses life in NW Austin pin-in auto wreck 

NORTHWEST AUSTIN, TX – A person’s life was claimed in a collision in the 11500th block of Jollyville Road, which left at least one person pinned inside their vehicle Friday night. 

Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services announced this crash at 9:45 p.m. and said the unnamed individual perished at the collision site.

The Austin Fire Department and Austin Police Department also responded to the scene. They immediately shut down the area and advised commuters to seek alternative routes to accommodate the scene clearance process. 

While an investigation was launched and remains ongoing, officials have not yet been able to confirm the exact cause of this crash and have not released the victim’s identity.
