News: Person’s life claimed in motorcycle collision in South Austin 

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX – One person was killed in a motorcycle collision that happened in South Austin on Wednesday, according to KVUE.

Preliminary details show the motorcyclist was traveling on the southbound Interstate 35 Service Road when they crashed into the Ben White Boulevard overpass. The motorcyclist fell from their motorcycle and landed on the Ben White Boulevard Service Road.

The motorcyclist died from their injuries as a result.

Authorities shut down southbound Interstate 35 North to westbound Ben White Boulevard to accommodate the on-scene cleanup process, and left the eastbound portion of Ben White open.

Officials have not released the victim’s name and are actively working to determine the events that led to the crash.
