AUSTIN, TX – One person’s life was claimed in a motorcycle crash that occurred along AUS Airport on Friday.
Austin Travis County Emergency Medical Services were dispatched to the 2200th block of South FM 973 Road. ATCEMS arrived at the scene after 5:30 p.m. and declared the motorcyclist dead at the scene.

As of this writing, officials have not said if another vehicle was involved and have not released the victim’s identity.
Authorities are actively working to determine how the crash unfolded.
