LEANDER, TX – A driver of a vehicle crashed into a utility pole along the U.S. Highway 183 and Crystal Falls Parkway intersection, resulting in power outages Wednesday.
Leander Police reported this incident at approximately 11:46 a.m. and said traffic delays in the area should die down at this time.
US HWY 183 is shut down at Crystal Falls Pkwy due to a vehicle vs. power pole collision at that location. Power is out in that area and PEC is on scene. Expect delays until around 1PM. Motorists in the area should find an alternate route to their destination pic.twitter.com/oerbnX6692

Police have not indicated what led the motorist to collide with the utility pole, stated how many occupants there were, said if anyone was hurt, or provided an update on when the power should resume.
